Computerized Business Applications
Computerized Business Applications is a two-semester course designed to prepare students with an introduction to business applications that are necessary to live and work in a technological society. Emphasis is given to hardware, concepts, and business uses of applications. The business applications covered are word processing, database, spreadsheet, telecommunications, presentation and web page design.
We will use Microsoft's Office 2007 and/or Office 2010 toward the accomplishment of the goals above. Students will be expected to utilize digital textbooks for many assignments.
Students will be expected to submit assignments and projects (including a notebook of samples from professional publications) on time. Students will also be expected to care for the classroom, textbooks and equipment in a responsible manner.
Evaluations will include projects, vocabulary, ExamView tests, quizzes and online testing.

Different document views available in Word. Closing documents, exiting Word, and logging into/out of local network. Lesson 1, Word questions.

VOCABULARY Check (Vocabulary is an on-going assignment) 40 of 160 elements should be completed by Friday Sept. 6.
